Early Release Wednesdays '24/'25 - April 2nd Need something for your child to do on those Early Release Wednesdays?Send them with us for an afternoon adventure! Each date we will have something fun for the kids to do. It might be entertainment or a show, a science project, art project, gaming fun or so much more. In this multi-week program, you’ll learn how to effectively strike the ball, maintain a rally, keep score, and the rules and basic gameplay. At the conclusion of these lessons, players will have the foundational understanding and skills to start playing Pickleball. Mad Science - Fantastic Forces - Fantastic Forces Fantastic Forces: In this program, kids explore a variety of introductory topics in engineering, physics and chemistry as they learn how science can be applied in everyday life. They learn about concepts like bridge construction, the forces of flight, how air pressure can be used to move things, and more! At the end of every class, they take home an educational toy that extends the learning experience!

Head over to the Recreation Department building for an afternoon of egg hunting, followed by the chance to snap a picture with the Easter Bunny. Mad Science - Fantastic Forces - Fantastic Forces Fantastic Forces: In this program, kids explore a variety of introductory topics in engineering, physics and chemistry as they learn how science can be applied in everyday life. They learn about concepts like bridge construction, the forces of flight, how air pressure can be used to move things, and more! At the end of every class, they take home an educational toy that extends the learning experience!
This is an 8 week program running on Thursdays from 3pm - 4pm. Registrations and costs are for the whole 8 weeks. The price is $180/ child. This will be held at Kennebunkport Recreation building, located next to Consolidated School. The dates are:4/104/174/245/15/85/155/225/29

Led by former UNE Lacrosse player Arianna Dawson, campers will learn the fundamentals, and have fun doing it! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning.
