Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 2 - TCA2 - Tai Chi A2 Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 2 is a continuation of Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis program. This is ideal for individuals who have completed the Tai Chi for Arthritis program (also know as Tai Chi for Falls Prevention as offered from Agency on Aging) and are looking to add some more challenging movements. Participants will review the movements from Part 1 and continue onto learn additional and more challenging forms. Parts 1 and 2 flow seamlessly together. This session will be held once a week, on Fridays, for 10 weeks. It is taught by Janice Paul, a board-certified TCHI instructor.

Little Stuff Sports - Little Stuff Sports Session 1 This engaging and energetic class is designed specifically for toddlers and their caregivers to explore the exciting world of sports in a fun, supportive environment. This class is specially designed for 3 to 5 year-olds who are ready to explore a variety of popular sports in a fun, supportive environment. Each week, children will be introduced to the basic skills and rules of age-appropriate sports such as soccer, basketball, T-ball, and more - all through imaginative games, creative drills, and playful activities that keep them engaged and excited to learn. Beyond physical development, this program places a strong emphasis on building social and emotional skills. Children will have opportunities to practice teamwork, turn-taking, and communication as they participate in group games and cooperative challenges. They'll also begin to understand the value of good sportsmanship—celebrating effort, respecting others, and learning how to win and lose with grace. This is ideal for individuals who have completed the Tai Chi for Arthritis program (also know as Tai Chi for Falls Prevention as offered from Agency on Aging) and are looking to add some more challenging movements. Participants will review the movements from Part 1 and continue onto learn additional and more challenging forms. Parts 1 and 2 flow seamlessly together. This session will be held once a week, on Fridays, for 10 weeks. It is taught by Janice Paul, a board-certified TCHI instructor.

Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids' Test Kitchen, where participation is encouraged, and the choice to taste is always one's own.Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample finished dish - so they can show off what they learned at home!Parents report their kids come home from Kids' Test Kitchen EXCITED about fresh ingredients and new flavors! Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 2 - TCA2 - Tai Chi A2 Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 2 is a continuation of Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis program. This is ideal for individuals who have completed the Tai Chi for Arthritis program (also know as Tai Chi for Falls Prevention as offered from Agency on Aging) and are looking to add some more challenging movements. Participants will review the movements from Part 1 and continue onto learn additional and more challenging forms. Parts 1 and 2 flow seamlessly together. This session will be held once a week, on Fridays, for 10 weeks. It is taught by Janice Paul, a board-certified TCHI instructor.

Kids' Test Kitchen - Kids' Test Kitchen Cooking is a life skill, and so is eating!On a mission to redefine kid food; Kids' Test Kitchen's enthusiastic Facilitators get eaters of all ages and abilities, cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients!Students engage with food in a way that is both educational and fun. Through hands-on experience, kids are taught the value of fresh, healthy ingredients and gain appreciation for the process of transforming those ingredients into a finished product.Each class closes with an opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids' Test Kitchen, where participation is encouraged, and the choice to taste is always one's own.Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample finished dish - so they can show off what they learned at home!Parents report their kids come home from Kids' Test Kitchen EXCITED about fresh ingredients and new flavors! Reluctant eaters learn that food is safe and fun! Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 2 - TCA2 - Tai Chi A2 Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 2 is a continuation of Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis program. This is ideal for individuals who have completed the Tai Chi for Arthritis program (also know as Tai Chi for Falls Prevention as offered from Agency on Aging) and are looking to add some more challenging movements. Through hands-on experience, kids are taught the value of fresh, healthy ingredients and gain appreciation for the process of transforming those ingredients into a finished product.Each class closes with an opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids' Test Kitchen, where participation is encouraged, and the choice to taste is always one's own.Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample finished dish - so they can show off what they learned at home!Parents report their kids come home from Kids' Test Kitchen EXCITED about fresh ingredients and new flavors! Kids' Test Kitchen - Kids' Test Kitchen Cooking is a life skill, and so is eating!On a mission to redefine kid food; Kids' Test Kitchen's enthusiastic Facilitators get eaters of all ages and abilities, cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients!Students engage with food in a way that is both educational and fun. Through hands-on experience, kids are taught the value of fresh, healthy ingredients and gain appreciation for the process of transforming those ingredients into a finished product.Each class closes with an opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids' Test Kitchen, where participation is encouraged, and the choice to taste is always one's own.Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample finished dish - so they can show off what they learned at home!Parents report their kids come home from Kids' Test Kitchen EXCITED about fresh ingredients and new flavors! Reluctant eaters learn that food is safe and fun! And everyone practices essential life skills like teamwork, time management, and patience, along with the obvious skills like slicing, measuring, and cooking!JOIN US AGAIN! Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning. Welcome to After School Adventures—a fun, active, and enriching after school program designed specifically for students at Consolidated School and Pre-K students who will attend Kindergarten there next year. Our program provides a safe and engaging environment where kids can play, learn, and unwind after the school day with a balance of outdoor adventures, creative play, and structured activities. What to Expect at the ProgramWe focus on creating a positive, well-rounded experience with:
A mix of active & quiet activities
Both structured games and free play
Lots of outdoor time, weather permitting
Please dress your child appropriately for outdoor play each day!Who Can Attend:
Students currently enrolled at Consolidated School
Pre-K students who live in Kennebunkport
Schedule:
Program runs after school every weekday
Early Release Wednesdays require separate registration
Not available on legal holidays or school snow days
Registration Options:
By day, or for the full school year
Must register in advance to secure a spot
Same-day registration accepted until 10:00 AM at the Recreation Office
After 10:00 AM, a $30 late fee applies

Gentle Chair Yoga - Gentle Chair Yoga April Session In this 55-minute class, you will explore mindfulness and Yoga postures using the support of a chair with both seated and some optional chair-supported standing postures. Chair Yoga is great for improving strength and flexibility as well as decreasing stress and increasing mind-body connection and self-awareness! Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat or beach towel to place under the chair as well as a beach towel prop to use for resting/relaxation.Walk-ins are welcome for $15.For the safety of all, do not come to class if you are not feeling well.
