Support the New Playground at Firefighters Park
The community is coming together to support an exciting project — a brand-new playground at Firefighters Park, located in the beautiful Cape Porpoise neighborhood of Kennebunkport. This scenic park is a cherished local space, and a new playground will provide a much-needed place for children and families to play, gather, and make lasting memories.
Our Goal
We are working to raise $200,000 to bring this vision to life. The new playground will feature:
- Firefighter-themed elements honoring the park’s name and spirit
- Nature-inspired features that blend with the park’s natural beauty
- Safe, engaging equipment designed for children of various ages and abilities
Why It Matters
Firefighters Park is already a special place in the community, and this playground will ensure local children have a safe, fun, and imaginative space to enjoy right in their neighborhood. Your support helps create a lasting community asset that families will benefit from for years to come.

Please note that there is a 3% fee for using a credit card. To avoid this fee, you can mail a check to the address above.
All donations are tax deductible and you will receive a receipt to the email address listed on your account.
While we don't have a design just yet, some ideas are shown below.
To Donate, follow these steps:
1. Set up an account or log into a current account by clicking the portrait icon on the right hand of the screen
2. You should see the drop-down menu and should click"create account" to create an account or "Account Log0in" to access your already existing account
3. Once you are in your account, go back to the home screen and click on the photo of the Fuel the Fund logo
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page after reading through the information
5. Click the "Donate Now" button
6. Enter your donation amount
7. Click "check out"
8. Check the box acknowledging the waiver
9.Click continue
10. Click "check-out online" - (if you click "print a pre registration form" button, the donation will not be made until you present the payment in the Recreation office)
11. Follow the payment instructions
