In Your Backyard: Behind the Scenes of Local Life A Kennebunkport Rec Exclusive for Adults 18+ Go beyond the storefront and discover the real stories behind your favorite local businesses with “In Your Backyard”—a unique program designed exclusively for adults looking to explore, learn, and connect with their community in a whole new way. Each month, we’ll visit a different local business for an insider’s look at how things really work—whether it’s brewing the perfect pint, roasting coffee beans, crafting artisan goods, or running a hidden gem you’ve always been curious about. You’ll meet the makers, see the process, and walk away with a deeper appreciation for the incredible talent and effort right here in our backyard.We will meet at the Recreation Building and take the Recreation Van!
Program Features:
- Monthly visits to locally-owned businesses and workshops
- Guided tours and behind-the-scenes access
- Q&A sessions with owners and operators
- Occasional samples, demos, or hands-on experiences (depending on location)
- Great for curious adults, and community-minded individuals
