Get ready for a thrilling fall evening filled with fun, frights, and family-friendly adventure! Join us for Zombie Dash: Outbreak 3000, where the woods come alive and the race is on. Choose your wave, grab your flashlight, and prepare to dash through the dark… if you dare.

Date: Friday, October 10
Time: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Emmons Preserve – Kennebunkport Conservation Trust Headquarters
Course: 1-mile loop along the scenic Learning Trail
Choose Your Wave:

5:45 PM – The Iron Giant Wave
Ages 5+
Perfect for younger participants and first-time zombie dashers! This wave is all thrills without the chills—taking place in the remaining daylight to keep things more fun than frightening.

6:45 PM – The Terminator Wave
Ages 8+
For the bold and brave! As night falls, the trail transforms into a shadowy, heart-pounding gauntlet. This wave is for those who aren’t afraid of the dark—or what might be lurking in it. Participants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration: $10 per person
Everyone entering the trail must be registered—including grown-ups!

Volunteering:
If you would like to volunteer, please scroll down and select volunteer sign-up.  You will then be asked whether you would like to volunteer as a zombie or helping us run the event.

Important Info:
  • Bring a headlamp or flashlight – it will be dark and the trail is only minimally lit!
  • Costumes encouraged, but not required. Zombies will be present—some nice, some... not so much.
