After School

The After School Adventures Program is designed for students at Consolidated School and Pre-K students that will attend Consolidated School for Kindergarten. Please read the notes below carefully. There are some new rules in place this year.

Here are some FAQ's: After School FAQ's

Registration is per day, per month, or for the full year, and we ask that you please register in advance for staffing and safety purposes. If it is less than 24 hours away, please call us at (207) 967-4304 to check availability.

All balances must be up to date by June 1st.  If there is an outstanding balance by registration for next year, we may restrict registration until payment is made.

Early Release Wednesdays are a different program and require separate registration.  Full year registration DOES NOT include Early Release Wednesdays.

Please update your child information forms by going to your account, selecting the child, scrolling down to the existing child info form and selecting edit.

General Information
  • KASA opens on the first day of school and will close on the last.
  • Your child will only be accepted on the days they are scheduled to attend school.
  • We accept registration up to 10am day-of at the Recreation Office. Any registration made after 10am, will be charged the single day fee plus a $30 late fee.
  • The fee is $16.50/day for single day signup, $15.50/day for monthly signup and $14.50/day for school year signup.
  • Payment is due prior to service unless a billing arrangement is established. You may pay by credit card online; a convenience fee will be attached at checkout. Otherwise, please follow the checkout process to "print registration form", then pay with check or cash.
  • If registering for the full year session, a 10% deposit is required at time of registraiton.
  • The program operates daily from 2:45-5:30pm (our late policy $30 for pickup after 5:30pm without prior notification).
  • We run special programs on early-release Wednesdays and during vacations, excluding Christmas. These programs have separate registrations. Be sure to check our website for these programs.
  • We do not operate on legal holidays or school snow days.

Additional Information
  • You must pre-register to aid our planning and staffing. Consider registering each weekend for the upcoming week.
  • IF YOU ARE NOT PRE-REGISTERED AND YOU SEND YOUR CHILD TO THE REC PROGRAM, WE WILL SEND THEM BACK TO THE OFFICE FOR PICK UP. IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO PICK THEM UP AND THEY NEED TO BE AT THE REC PROGRAM, YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $30 ON TOP OF THE DAILY FEE. IF THE PROGRAM IS FULL THEN WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMODATE YOUR CHILD. THIS IS FOR SAFETY REASONS. THE REC STAFF AND THE SCHOOL STAFF NEED TO KNOW WHERE YOUR CHILD SHOULD BE.
  • Once you have pre-registered, you must call us if your child will not be in attendance due to illness or other change in plans. Due to the waitlist, we cannot credit back charges for any last-minute cancellation. We will not issue account credits or refunds to participants who have signed up per month or per school year.
  • We are challenged to balance the activities between active and passive, competitive and cooperative, structured and freeform, educational and fun, etc. We spend as much time outside as possible; please always dress your child appropriately for the weather.
  • Friday is Pokémon Day! On this day children are invited to bring their Pokémon cards for some supervised trades, the opportunity to pick a few cards to add to their collection, and some fun Pokémon crafts and activities! (We recommend leaving any special cards at home - we do our best to supervise trading and make sure no unfair trades are made, but sometimes the excitement of the moment has kids offering to trade cards they otherwise might not want to trade).
