Nordic Walking at Hope Woods: Nordic Walking is a style of walking with specialized poles, which has been linked to numerous health benefits.  The use of the walking poles switches walking from a lower body workout to a whole body workout!  Nordic Walking has been found to strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular health, and enhance balance and coordination.  No matter how fast you go or how long you walk for, you are guaranteed to get a beneficial workout! 

Join us on Mondays from 9AM-10:30AM as we explore the ADA trails in Hope Woods.  We will have 10 sets of poles available for anyone to use.          

Open House:
   Join us on April 22nd at 9 am for a Nordic Walking demonstration and information session.  It will be held at Hope Woods and we will have Nordic Walking poles that you can try out, which were graciously donated by Urban Poling.
