Candlelight Tour of Hammond Castle

Step back into time with us as we go on a tour of a true European Castle, the Hammond Castle in Gloucester, MA. We will experience it as John Hays Hammond and his wife experienced it, via the simplicity of candlelight. 

Hammond Castle was built in the late 1920's by scientist, inventor, and art connoisseur, John Hays Hammond, Jr. Their website, https://www.hammondcastle.org/about/hammond-castle-museum/, describes it this way; "Sitting high on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the castle brings together a unique combination of art, architectural elements and culture, backstopped by many innovative technological applications, yet unknown and unseen by the visitor." 

When: August 29th, 2019. Meet at the Rec building at 4:30pm. We will return at approximately 8:30pm. 
4:30pm-Meet at the Rec building
5:45pm-Arrive at Hammond Castle for a 6pm Candlelight Tour
7:00pm-Take bus back to Rec building

Cost: $35 Includes transportation and candlelight tour of the Castle
Max number of registrations is 14 people
