Agamenticus         Friday: Southworth Planetarium              Drop Off/ Pick Up--Recreation DepartmentTime: 8:30am-4:30pm (please drop off by 9 each day; bus will return by 4 each day) Please pack the following EVERY DAY: LUNCH, snacks, and a water bottle. All outdoor activities are weather dependent. Empower and De-Stress Yoga Taught by Suzy Legare E-RYT 200 This combination all levels yoga class is designed to incorporate both movement and relaxation. The class will begin with a vinyasa flow and then end with a restorative yoga sequence. The flow will incorporate stretching, strengthening and mind/body connection that will empower you. The restorative sequence will be designed to open the body passively and find a deep sense of relaxation to release daily stress. The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning. To improve air quality, some windows will be opened and air purifiers will be running in the program room. For the safety of all, do not come to class if you are not feeling well.  Class is taught by Mindy of Mindy Muse Yoga. Beginner Lacrosse (K-2) Looking to get out and try a new sport this spring? Join Beginner Lacrosse!This is a 8-week program designed to introduce kids to the sport of lacrosse in a fun, energetic, and casual environment, all while helping teach the basic skills of the game.  Led by former UNE Lacrosse player Arianna Dawson, campers will learn the fundamentals, and have fun doing it! When: Wednesdays 5pm-6pm, April 10th-May 29th (Make-Up Date June 5th) Where: Parson's Field (next to Consolidated School) Only sticks are required for this beginner program. Softer balls are utilized so pads, mouth guards, or helmets are not required. You may purchase gear at Dick's Sporting Goods or online at Lacrosse Unlimited You can use the recommended size chart below as guidance

This program is a fun walk/run program to get kids, grades K-5 moving.Dates: Fridays, April 26-May 17Time: 3:30pm-4:30pmCost: $30Where: Parsons Field, Kennebunkport, next to Consolidated SchoolWhat to bring: running sneakers, running shorts/pants, healthy snack and water bottleVolunteers: Parents, if you are a runner and would like to help with the program, please call the Recreation Department at 207-967-4304.KCS participants will check in with the After School Program , in the gymnasium, and then will be walked over by a rec staff.  All others can meet at the Recreation Building at 3:30pm.Younger participants will do their running primarily on Parsons Field, while participants in 3rd-5th grade may run on the road with parents' permission and with adult supervision.

Zumba is a fun way to get in shape! ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning. Experience the joy of dancing by joining instructor Diane Anderson in our new line dance class at the Kennebunkport Recreation Building. Starting on February 28, and continuing every Wednesday from 1:00pm-2:00pm, this class promises not only a fantastic time but also a chance to enhance your dance skills.  Strap on your dancing shoes and prepare for a delightful journey!Participate at your convenience with a drop-in fee of $5.00 per class, or opt for a 5-week session for just $22.00. The After School Adventures Program is designed for students at Consolidated School and Pre-K students that will attend Consolidated School for Kindergarten. Please read the notes below carefully. There are some new rules in place this year.Registration is per day, per month, or for the full year, and we ask that you please register in advance for staffing and safety purposes. Beginner Lacrosse (K-2) Looking to get out and try a new sport this spring? Join Beginner Lacrosse!This is a 8-week program designed to introduce kids to the sport of lacrosse in a fun, energetic, and casual environment, all while helping teach the basic skills of the game.  Led by former UNE Lacrosse player Arianna Dawson, campers will learn the fundamentals, and have fun doing it! When: Wednesdays 5pm-6pm, April 10th-May 29th (Make-Up Date June 5th) Where: Parson's Field (next to Consolidated School) Only sticks are required for this beginner program. Softer balls are utilized so pads, mouth guards, or helmets are not required. You may purchase gear at Dick's Sporting Goods or online at Lacrosse Unlimited You can use the recommended size chart below as guidance

Explore mindfulness and Yoga postures using the support of a chair with both seated and some optional chair-supported standing postures. Chair Yoga is great for improving strength and flexibility as well as decreasing stress and increasing mind-body connection and self-awareness! Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat or beach towel to place under the chair as well as a beach towel prop to use for resting/relaxation.Masks are optional. To improve air quality, some windows will be opened and air purifiers will be running in the program room. For the safety of all, do not come to class if you are not feeling well.  Class is taught by Mindy of Mindy Muse Yoga. At the conclusion of these lessons, players will have the foundational understanding and skills to start playing Pickleball. Bring your own paddle, or use one of ours!Where: Rotary Park on BeachwoodCost: $70Sign up soon, there will only be 16 spots available in each session to ensure participants have sufficient court time and 1 on 1 attention.*This is a high demand program. Payment must be made in order to secure a spot. This program is a fun walk/run program to get kids, grades K-5 moving.Dates: Fridays, April 26-May 17Time: 3:30pm-4:30pmCost: $30Where: Parsons Field, Kennebunkport, next to Consolidated SchoolWhat to bring: running sneakers, running shorts/pants, healthy snack and water bottleVolunteers: Parents, if you are a runner and would like to help with the program, please call the Recreation Department at 207-967-4304.KCS participants will check in with the After School Program , in the gymnasium, and then will be walked over by a rec staff.  All others can meet at the Recreation Building at 3:30pm.Younger participants will do their running primarily on Parsons Field, while participants in 3rd-5th grade may run on the road with parents' permission and with adult supervision.
