4:30 PM - 5:30 PM	Lacrosse for Beginners - Beginner Lacrosse (Pre-K - K) Pre-K & Kindergarten Spring Lacrosse Program - In partnership with Kennebunkport Recreation & Kennebunk Lacrosse Club  Join us this spring for a fun and active introduction to the exciting sport of lacrosse! Designed specifically for Pre-K and Kindergarten children, this coed program focuses on learning the basics in a supportive and engaging environment. Each week, players will develop foundational skills including: Stick work – learning how to cradle and control the ball Ground balls – practicing scooping techniques Passing and catching – building teamwork and coordination Game introduction – understanding the flow and fun of lacrosse Equipment Needed: Lacrosse stick Athletic shoes or cleats (no special gear required) Led by Kennebunk Lacrosse Club coaches and enthusiastic parent volunteers, this program emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and — most importantly — having fun! Details at a Glance: Dates: Thursdays, April 30 – June 4 Time: 4:30 – 5:30 PM Location: Parsons Field (adjacent to Kennebunkport Consolidated School) Ages: Pre-K & Kindergarten Cost: $50 and includes a fun t-shirt!

3:30 PM - 4:30 PM	Run with ME 2026 - Run w/ ME 2026 - Grades K-5 Join instructor Steph Redmond from KCS for an exciting and active walk/run program designed to get kids in grades K-5 moving, having fun, and staying healthy! This is a great opportunity for kids to enjoy physical activity while building fitness in a friendly and supportive environment. Dates: Fridays, May 8- June 5Time: 3:30 pm-4:30 pmCost: $40Where: Parsons Field, Kennebunkport, next to Consolidated SchoolWhat to bring: running sneakers, running shorts/pants, healthy snack, and water bottleVolunteers: Parents, if you're a runner and would like to help out with the program, we’d love your support! Please contact the Recreation Department at 207-967-4304 for more details.Important Notes: KCS participants will check in with the After School Program in the gymnasium before being escorted to the field by recreation staff. Younger participants will primarily run on Parsons Field, while 3rd-5th grade participants may run on the road with parent permission and adult supervision.
