He strives to help people discover (or re-discover) their passion for racket sports and along the way, take their game to new heights.

Program runs after school every weekday
Early Release Wednesdays require separate registration
Not available on legal holidays or school snow days

Same-day registration accepted until 10:00 AM at the Recreation Office
After 10:00 AM, a $30 late fee applies

$15/day ($2,550) – Full-year registration

We will be opening only the first four ERWs due to Andy’s (Program Supervisor) paternity leave and current staffing levels. The remaining dates will open once Andy returns, and notifications will be sent out at that time. There will not be a separate 4/5 ERW session until Andy is backNeed something for your child to do on those Early Release Wednesdays?Send them with us for an afternoon adventure! Each date we will have something fun for the kids to do. It might be entertainment or a show, a science project, art project, gaming fun or so much more. We will stay on campus these days both at the Rec building and in the school gymnasium.This program is open to any student however, transportation is not offered and students from any school other than Consolidated School will need to have transportation on their own to Consolidated School.As entertainment is booked, we will update the program description here.September 10th: Inflate Maine - Bringing the bouncy fun with an obstacle course and a slippery slide into a pool! October 1st: Sparks Ark - Get up close and personal with some amazing animals. Welcome to After School Adventures—a fun, active, and enriching after school program designed specifically for students at Consolidated School and Pre-K students who will attend Kindergarten there next year. Our program provides a safe and engaging environment where kids can play, learn, and unwind after the school day with a balance of outdoor adventures, creative play, and structured activities. What to Expect at the ProgramWe focus on creating a positive, well-rounded experience with:
A mix of active & quiet activities
Both structured games and free play
Lots of outdoor time, weather permitting
Please dress your child appropriately for outdoor play each day!Who Can Attend:
Students currently enrolled at Consolidated School
Pre-K students who live in Kennebunkport
Schedule:
Program runs after school every weekday
Early Release Wednesdays require separate registration
Not available on legal holidays or school snow days
Registration Options:
By day, or for the full school year
Must register in advance to secure a spot
Same-day registration accepted until 10:00 AM at the Recreation Office
After 10:00 AM, a $30 late fee applies
Rates & Payments
$15/day ($2,550) – Full-year registration
$16.50/day – Single-day registration
10% deposit ($255) required for full-year enrollment (which covers September)
Payment is due before attendance, unless a payment plan is arranged
Full year registration will be broken into 10 monthly payments of $255, with payments due at the beginning of the month.
Multiple siblings will receive a 10% discount at check out.
Late or Unregistered AttendanceTo ensure safety and proper staffing, all children must be pre-registered. If a child arrives without being registered:
They will be sent to the office for pickup
If they need to stay and space allows, a $30 late fee will apply
If the program is full, we may not be able to accommodate

“No Sunshine? No Problem—It’s Indoor Pickleball Time!”Our indoor multi-week lessons give players of all skill levels the chance to improve their game while staying active throughout the season. With three levels—Beginner, Improver, and Coached Improver—you’ll find the right fit whether you’re just starting out, looking to build consistency, or ready for coached gameplay to refine your strategy. Wherever you are in your Pickleball journey, Coach Dave will help you learn, grow, and have fun on the court!Beginner LessonsThe cold weather is here, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop learning pickleball! Join Coach Dave for a fun, multi-week beginner program where you’ll practice striking the ball, rallying, keeping score, and learning the rules and basics of gameplay. By the end of the session, you’ll have the foundation and confidence to start playing on your own. Bring your own paddle, or borrow one of ours! Spots are limited to just 12 participants to ensure plenty of court time and personalized instruction — register early to save your spot!Improver Lessons:Ready to take your pickleball skills to the next level? Join Coach Dave for our Improver Pickleball Lessons — designed for players who have completed our Beginner program or already know the fundamentals and want to sharpen their game. You’ll work on improving consistency, strategy, and advanced techniques to help you feel more confident and competitive on the court. Bring your own paddle, or borrow one of ours! Enrollment is limited to 16 participants to allow for plenty of court time and individual attention, so be sure to sign up early.Coached Improver Lessons:Keep building your pickleball skills with Coach Dave in our Coached Improver Lessons! This program is designed for players who have already completed our Improver sessions or feel confident with the basics and want to elevate their game even further. With guided instruction while you play live games, Coach Dave will help you refine your technique, sharpen strategies, and gain more confidence on the court. Dave Cousins is a combined PTR, USPTA, and IFP (International Federation of Pickleball) Certified Professional with many years of teaching experience in Southern Maine. He loves working with both juniors and adults, whether just starting out or playing at competitive levels. Dave's belief is that racket sports have a place for EVERYONE, of any age, ability, or skill set. He strives to help people discover (or re-discover) their passion for racket sports and along the way, take their game to new heights.

If payment cannot be made at the time of registration, please complete the pre-registration form and contact the Recreation Department at 207-967-4304. We do not offer prorated fees or partial refunds for lessons. Refunds are only available for an entire session and must be requested in writing. Welcome to After School Adventures—a fun, active, and enriching after school program designed specifically for students at Consolidated School and Pre-K students who will attend Kindergarten there next year. Our program provides a safe and engaging environment where kids can play, learn, and unwind after the school day with a balance of outdoor adventures, creative play, and structured activities. What to Expect at the ProgramWe focus on creating a positive, well-rounded experience with:
A mix of active & quiet activities
Both structured games and free play
Lots of outdoor time, weather permitting
Please dress your child appropriately for outdoor play each day!Who Can Attend:
Students currently enrolled at Consolidated School
Pre-K students who live in Kennebunkport
Schedule:
Program runs after school every weekday
Early Release Wednesdays require separate registration
Not available on legal holidays or school snow days
Registration Options:
By day, or for the full school year
Must register in advance to secure a spot
Same-day registration accepted until 10:00 AM at the Recreation Office
After 10:00 AM, a $30 late fee applies
Rates & Payments
$15/day ($2,550) – Full-year registration
$16.50/day – Single-day registration
10% deposit ($255) required for full-year enrollment (which covers September)
Payment is due before attendance, unless a payment plan is arranged
Full year registration will be broken into 10 monthly payments of $255, with payments due at the beginning of the month.
Multiple siblings will receive a 10% discount at check out.
Late or Unregistered AttendanceTo ensure safety and proper staffing, all children must be pre-registered. If a child arrives without being registered:
They will be sent to the office for pickup
If they need to stay and space allows, a $30 late fee will apply
If the program is full, we may not be able to accommodate

Adult Drop-In Indoor Pickleball at KCSStarting November 3, 2025 – April 20, 2026 | Mondays, 6:00–9:00 PM Because Wednesdays and Sundays just weren’t enough… we’re serving up Mondays too! Whether you’re a seasoned player or still figuring out what “dinking” means, come join the fun at Kennebunkport Consolidated School for some friendly, fast-paced, and occasionally hilarious games of pickleball.
